Glenn Maxwell, newcomer to Royal Challengers Bangalore, said he loved the experience in his new franchise in the Indian Premier League and appreciated the support from team management and their teammates. Maxwell has got off to a good start to his time with the Bengaluru-based franchise after playing a couple of match-winning strokes.

Glenn Maxwell said he felt at home with RCB from day one after making the move from Punjab Kings. Maxwell was sacked by Punjab after a normal season in the United Arab Emirates last year in which he managed 108 runs in 13 games.

However, the Australian all-rounder has already scored 176 runs in just 3 games. He faced two match finning fifties for RCB in difficult shooting conditions in Chennai. He finished IPL 2020 without hitting a single six but has already hit 8 highs.

“I felt at home from day one. The coaching team has been very supportive, as have the players. It has been great fun so far,” said Maxwell RCB before the game against Rajasthan Royals in Mumbai on April 22nd.

Maxwell was bought by RCB for Rs 14.25 after the Australian star showed interest in playing with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The all-rounder gave firepower to the middle order and relieved Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.

RCB has made a solid start, winning 3 out of 3 games in Chennai. However, you will be faced with a new challenge in Mumbai, where bowlers have so far suffered a defeat. However, Maxwell is confident that RCB can continue its good run in Mumbai.
