As the Trinamool Congress neared a massive victory in Bengal, the man behind the party’s success, election strategist Prashant Kishor, announced his resignation from election management on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to India Today TV, he said: “I’ve been thinking too long about quitting and looking for an opportunity, Bengal gave me that chance.”
He had previously said he would resign if the BJP exceeded 100 seats in the West Bengal Assembly elections
