As soon as a bed is booked, it is blocked according to the system for 12 hours. If the patient is not admitted to the hospital by then, the beds are automatically unlocked.
According to the claim, within those 12 hours, officials would find a patient willing to pay a heavy price for the hospital bed and once it was unlocked they would reassign it to the same patient.
