A 24-year-old boy was upset about being asked to clean the washroom and allegedly stabbed his stepbrother in Bhopal.
A 25-year-old boy is said to have stabbed his stepbrother for asking him to clean the washroom in Bhopal’s chhola bar. The defendant was arrested and a murder case was brought against him.
The incident occurred on Monday evening. The accused, identified as Anil, stayed in the apartment where he allegedly had committed the crime – along with the body so as not to arouse suspicion. He waited until the neighbors went to sleep.
Then he took the body out and threw it behind the building. Then he went in and pretended to be normal.
The next morning, the locals discovered the body and informed the police.
Police told The Times of India that an investigation had found traces and blood stains on the stairs in front of the apartment, suggesting a murder.
Three hours after the interrogation, the defendant admitted to having committed the crime.
SHO Chhola Anil Singh Mourya said the deceased was identified as a 32-year-old nanakram. His mother Laxmi separated from her first husband and remarried. She has a son and four daughters from her second marriage. The defendant Anil is her second marriage son. Anil works as a day laborer, Laxmi is a domestic help.
Police said the defendant told them that on Sunday night, when the other family members were absent, Nanakram returned home drunk and pressured Anil to clean the washroom. An argument ensued between them that led to Nanakram’s murder.
