CBSE releases Class 10 exam assessment procedure, result by June 20

CBSE Class 10 Board Exam 2021: Attention Students, the Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, has released a notice regarding the grading process for Exam 10 10 of the Class 10 Board. In the notice, CBSE explained the grading process by which grade 10 students are graded. Students can check the notice on CBSE’s official website, i.e. cbse.nic.in.

The hint reads:

Due to the cancellation of the board exams, the school will evaluate 80 points:

  • Based on the grades obtained by the candidate in the various tests / exams carried out by the school over the course of the year
  • The grades should be consistent with the school’s previous performance on board exams for Class X.

According to the communication, 20 points for each subject will be used for internal assessment, as it is every year, but 80 points will be calculated based on student performance in various tests or exams throughout the year.

CBSE asked the schools to set up a results committee consisting of school principals and seven teachers to finalize the results. Five teachers in the school should be from math, social science, science and two languages, and two teachers from neighboring schools should be co-opted by the school as external members of the committee.

Grade 10 board score by June 20th

CBSE has further mentioned that the Class 10 board result for 2021 will be announced by June 20th. The message reads:

“All schools were asked to meet the deadlines for submitting grades for internal assessment in order to provisionally compile and declare the results by the third week of June 2021.”

The schools were asked to finalize the results by May 25th and submit them to the board by June 5th. Internal grading grades (of 20) must be submitted by June 11th. CBSE will announce class results on June 20th.
