After searching the restobar, a person was found who was sitting with a laptop and taking orders for oxygen concentrators via an online portal. During the search of the premises, 32 oxygen concentrators with a capacity of 9 and 5 liters as well as boxes with thermal scanners and N-95 masks were found.

The goods were confiscated during the raids in the Lodhi colony.

Upon verification, it was found that the owner of the restobar was Navneet Kalra. An FIR was registered against the four men who operated the racket at the Lodhi Colony Outlet under sections of the Essential Commodities Act and the Epidemic Diseases Act.

According to the police, the defendant imported the oxygen concentrators from China and sold them in Delhi via an online portal. The concentrators were reportedly bought for Rs 20,000-25,000 and sold for at least Rs 70,000.

Delhi Police are contacting customs to verify that the oxygen concentrators were purchased for personal use and then sold for commercial use as permitted by the center. When questioned in depth, the defendant revealed that he also has a warehouse on the Khullar farm in Mandi village, where the concentrators were stored.

Another search was conducted and an additional 387 units of oxygen concentrators were recovered. Bills for these concentrators indicated that they sold for over Rs 70,000 apiece. MRP stickers with price information were also found on the oxygen units.
