While trying to end his girlfriend’s marriage, a Bihar man sparked a laugh riot on Twitter after urging Prime Minister Nitish Kumar to ban weddings in the state in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. The story went viral on social media as internet users laughed out loud after reading about Pankaj Kumar Gupta’s request to Nitish Kumar.

So it happened that Nitish Kumar said in a post on Twitter on May 13th: “The positive result of the lockdown is obvious. Therefore, it was decided to extend the lockdown for another 10 days from May 16th to 25th.” Bihar’s situation has improved significantly with the state reporting 6,894 new cases and a positivity rate of 5.73 percent on May 16.

Responding to his post in Hindi, Pankaj Kumar Gupta said, “Sir, if you could ban weddings, my girlfriend’s wedding, which is due to take place on May 19th, would stall too. I will be forever grateful to you. “

Regarding the coronavirus situation, India has recorded 2.59 lakh fresh Covid-19 cases and over 4,200 deaths in the past 24 hours. The top five states that recorded maximum cases are Tamil Nadu with 35,579 cases, followed by Kerala with 30,491 cases, Maharashtra with 29,911 cases, Karnataka with 28,869 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 22,610 cases.
