Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib on Saturday and paid tribute to Guru Teg Bahadur Singh on his 400th birthday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Delhi on Saturday for the 400th birthday of Guru Teg Bahadur. He offered prayers in the Gurdwara on the 400th Parkash Purab and greeted the nation.

PM Narendra Modi said Saturday that Guru Teg Bahadur has refused to bow to tyranny and injustice and that his highest sacrifice gives strength and motivation to many.

PM Modi paid tribute to Guru Teg Bahadur and said, “On the occasion of his 400th Parkash Purab, I bow to Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. He is widely recognized worldwide for his courage and efforts to serve the oppressed. He refused to bow to tyranny and injustice. His highest sacrifice gives strength and motivation to many. “

The Prime Minister visited the Gurdwara without taking the security route. No special security was agreed in the Gurudwara for PM Narendra Modi’s visit.
