On Tuesday, Sonu Sood and his team of volunteers in Bengaluru supplied more than 16 oxygen cylinders to a hospital in the city, saving the lives of 20 to 22 Covid-19 patients. The Sonu Sood Charity Foundation’s Karnataka team received an SOS call from a police officer about the urgent need for oxygen bottles at the ARAK hospital.

Hashmath Raza of the Sonu Sood Charity Foundation in Karnataka received an SOS call from a police officer about the need for oxygen bottles at the city’s ARAK hospital. The hospital had already lost two patients to oxygen starvation and was at risk of losing 20 to 22 Covid-19 patients.

The team arranged 16 oxygen cylinders after an emergency alert was raised with their contacts. Sonu Sood praised the team for responding promptly to the SOS call.

Sonu Sood, who has expanded information on Covid resources through his social media accounts, praised his team for their quick action. The actor said in a statement: “This was pure teamwork and a willingness to help our compatriots. As soon as we got the call from Inspector Satyanarayan, we checked it and went to action within minutes. The team spent the whole night, not thinking about anything but helping the hospital get oxygen bottles. Had there been a delay, many families could have lost their loved ones. I want to thank everyone who helped save so many lives last night. “

The actor has helped people affected by Covid-19 by arranging medical care for them.

SONU WANTS FREE EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE LOST PARENTS TO COVID

In a video Sonu Sood called on the government to help children who lost their parents to Covid-19. He called on the government and various non-profit organizations to announce free education for the children.

He had previously asked the government to cancel board exams for grades 10 and 12 students.

Sonu Sood recently recovered from Covid-19. The actor tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 17 and negative on April 23. He had been helping people in need since last year when the nationwide lockdown was imposed to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
