The United Arab Emirates have approved the Pfizer (PFE.N) and BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for emergencies in children ages 12 to 15, the government said Thursday, having approved the use for 16 years and above had.

The UAE Ministry of Health approved its use, the government Twitter account said. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday approved the use of the vaccine in children 12 years and older.
