A BJP-MLA from Uttar Pradesh has joined the list of lawmakers of the ruling party in Uttar Pradesh who have expressed this Resentment against Covid-19 management in the state when he said he might face sedition charges if he talked too much.
Speaking to reporters, BJP MLA from Sitapur (Sadar) Rakesh Rathore also claimed that the legislature had no say in the functioning of the Uttar Pradesh government.

When asked why the lockdown in Uttar Pradesh, which continues to struggle with coronavirus infections, was not strictly enforced, the BJP MLA said: “Everything is going very well … nothing better can be done.”
“I am not the government. But I can definitely say that anything the government tells you should be considered correct, “he said.
When asked why the county government is making no effort to control the crisis, the MLA said government and administration are two sides of the same coin.
Rakesh Rathore has questioned his party several times in the past and has even been set aside for his anti-party statements.
A notice was delivered to the BJP MLA last year by the party after allegedly hearing on a viral audio clip that the idea of hitting records to defeat the coronavirus “breaks the record for stupidity”.
He questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call to hit thalis and light lamps during the first wave of Covid.
Other members of the ruling BJP in Uttar Pradesh have also questioned Yogi Adityanath’s handling of the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

A day later, BJP MLA from Jasrana in Firozabad, Ramgopal Lodhi, claimed that his coronavirus-positive wife had not been admitted to an Agra hospital for more than three hours. Officials said no beds were available.
The angry MLA posted a video clip of his complaint on social media, embarrassing the government.
Lodhi claimed that his wife did not receive medicine and water in a timely manner.
“What will happen to a common man when the wife of an MLA cannot be adequately cared for,” he said in the video, claiming his wife was lying on the hospital floor.
In April, a “confidential” letter from UP Justice Minister Brajesh Pathak surfaced on social media. Pathak had reached out to his state health authorities complaining that beds for coronavirus patients were running out and ambulances were taking hours to arrive in the state capital.
The minister did not deny the authenticity of the letter, which appeared to challenge the UP government’s claim that he is in control of the situation.
“I had written a confidential letter to the government,” he told PTI and refused to share its contents.
