Delhi Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced further easing of Covid-related restrictions in the city from 5 a.m. on Sunday. The CM announced the resumption of all economic activity, with the exception of some that will remain banned and some that will continue in a restricted manner.
In a press conference, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the odd-even rule for stores in markets and shopping malls in the city will be discontinued and that all stores will be open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. from Monday. Restaurants are allowed to open with 50 percent seating capacity.
However, CM Arvind Kejriwal said this will be done on a trial basis for a week and more stringent restrictions will be imposed as cases increase.
