Earthquake of magnitude 4.6 hits Ladakh’s Leh

An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale hit Leh in Ladakh on Monday.

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors were felt around 6:10 a.m. The earthquake was measured at a depth of 18 km on the Richter scale.

“A 4.6 magnitude earthquake shakes Leh in Ladakh,“NCS was quoted by the ANI news agency.

However, there were no immediate reports of loss of life or property damage.
