A woman in Rajasthan’s Baran killed her three-year-old granddaughter to teach another person a lesson over an argument. The woman killed the girl and falsely accused a Rameshwar Mogya of killing the girl after an argument with him.

However, police interrogated and arrested the 50-year-old woman identified as Kanakbai for allegedly killing her granddaughter.

The incident occurred last month in Borina village in the Baran area of Rajasthan after two groups allegedly fought on their way to fetch water.

SP Vinit Kumar Bansal told India Today TV that on May 30, two groups in Borina village were involved in a dispute over how to get water, which later resulted in a scuffle in which some people were injured.

A three-year-old girl, the daughter of Amarlal Mogya, was killed in this quarrel. The family later filed a complaint against Rameshwar Mogya for killing the girl.

During the investigation, the police found that Rameshwar Mogya’s daughter had also been injured in the scuffle. Kanakbai threatened Rameshwar Mogya to file a lawsuit against her.

While Rameshwar Mogya was running away, Kanakbai killed her three-year-old granddaughter in order to falsely accuse Rameshwar Mogya of killing the girl during the scuffle between the two parties.

Police questioned the woman suspicious of her activities and later arrested her.
