The Himachal Pradesh government issued travel advice to tourists visiting the state on Monday as the government eased the curbs amid the decline in Covid-19 cases.
Himachal Pradesh Prime Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that people visiting the state must register online and apply for a Covid-E passport.
The Prime Minister said that anyone wishing to enter the state must now enter their personal details online. He added that the details of the visitors’ arrival would be shared with all interested stakeholders.
“The government has removed the condition of the RT-PCR request to enter the state. Nobody is allowed to disregard the norms set by the government in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus, “said Jai Ram Thakur.

Hoteliers have been instructed to strictly adhere to the state government’s SOPs.
CM Jai Ram Thakur also urged tourists to follow Covid-19 protocols.
“I appeal to tourists to adhere to these guidelines, to wear face masks and to keep social distance,” said the Prime Minister.
Tourists rushed to the mountain state as soon as the state government eased travel restrictions. Hundreds of cars were seen on the road to Himachal Pradesh, causing massive traffic jams.
