Days after murmured dissent and protests surfaced in the ruling party in Uttar Pradesh about how to deal with the second wave of the coronavirus, several high-ranking executives held a crucial meeting in Lucknow on Tuesday. Sources have told India Today TV that a Great reshuffle in the Uttar Pradeshh cabinet is likely in the next few weeks as new faces could be added to the state government.

The sources also did not indicate any major organizational changes ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections in 2022. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will Compete in the UP polls led by CM Yogi Adityanath and President Swatantra Dev Singh.
