Angry Congress Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu will meet Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in New Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting takes place amid ongoing tensions between Sidhu and Punjab Prime Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.

While the crisis in the Punjab Congress continues, angry leader Navjot Singh Sidhu will meet with Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Navjot Singh Sidhu left his residence in Patiala for Delhi on Monday. He is part of the group of MLAs who will meet Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday. Navjot Singh Sidhu will also have one-on-one talks with the Gandhis from 11 a.m.
Ahead of the elections to the assembly in Punjab 2022, Navjot Singh Sidhu is in a tussle with the Prime Minister of Punjab, Capt Amarinder Singh. CM Amarinder Singh, who was in Delhi last week, was snubbed by the top leadership of Congress for having to go to Chandigarh without meeting Rahul Gandhi.
During his meeting with the three-person committee earlier this month, Captain Amarinder Singh made it clear that Navjot Singh Sidhu was neither acceptable there deputy prime minister still chairing the Pradesh Congress Committee.
With the Gandhis who support Navjot Singh Sidhu, the Prime Minister of Punjab has also teamed up with his long-time archenemy Partap Singh Bajwa in order to thwart any positive decision to accept Navjot Singh Sidhu.
