Due to the lack of adequate stocks, Covid-19 vaccines will not be administered in government and community centers in Mumbai on June 3rd.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said Wednesday that the decision was due to insufficient supply of vaccines.

A new supply of vaccines is expected to arrive on June 3rd. Covid-19 vaccination in urban and state centers in Mumbai will resume from June 4, when sufficient supplies are available.

The BMC stated that Mumbai citizens are constantly being informed of the availability of Covid vaccines in the city. Appropriate decisions will be made on this basis, the citizens announced.

The BMC appealed to the citizens of Mumbai to cooperate with the administration.

Mumbai reported 925 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday. There are currently 16,580 active cases in the city.
