On Saturday evening, many brick makers gathered at the Moradabad Junction train station in Uttar Pradesh when they decided to leave the city due to a lack of work.
Migrant workers from Kanth and other Tehsils gathered at Moradabad Junction train station to return to their villages as bad weather conditions brought brick kilns to a standstill.
“Because of the rain there is no work here, so they are returning to their hometowns in Bhagalpur, Bihar,” Ashish, a brick kiln owner, told ANI UP.

Amid the second Covid-19 pandemic, the Uttar Pradesh government said on Saturday that the corona curfew will be re-imposed in these districts who will report over 500 Covid-19 cases.
The government of Uttar Pradesh has also eased the night curfew by two hours from June 21st, so that shops, shopping malls and restaurants can stay open until 9pm on weekdays. Saturday and Sunday are weekly holidays, said the order of the chief secretary RK Tiwari.
At least 294 new Covid-19 cases and 51 more deaths were reported in the state on Saturday.
