A building collapsed in Mumbai, killing three people on the spot. Ten other people were injured in the collapse of a building in the Govandi district of Mumbai.
The collapse of a two-story building left at least three dead and ten others injured. Some of the injured are in critical condition.
The incident took place at Shivaji Nagar’s No. 3 property in the Govandi area of Mumbai. BMC and fire fighters have reached the point.
Mumbai has been hit by heavy rains in the past few days. The heavy rains have led to several incidents of building collapses in Mumbai over the past few weeks. The weather department has forecast moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms in Mumbai and suburbs for Friday, with the possibility of very heavy rains in isolated locations.
