The Uttarakashi, Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun and Pauri Garhwal counties of Garhwal Division have been placed on high alert. The Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Nainital districts in the Kumaon Division were also asked to be on high alert for the next seven days.
