Dilip Ghosh on the way out?

Under the leadership of Dilip Ghosh, the BJP missed its target Elections for the West Bengal Assembly 2021. He could now be given a certain responsibility for the central structure of the party.

Sources say the party could appoint a new head of state in West Bengal. Those who get the post have to work closely with the opposition leader (LoP) and Nandigram MLA Suvendu Adhikari to strengthen the party’s state unity.

What about Kailash Vijayvargiya?

National BJP General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya is also expected to be released from charges against West Bengal. He could be given responsibility for another key state.

Pankaja Munde dissatisfied with the expansion of the cabinet?

In the midst of talks about a renewed reshuffle within the BJP, the party’s general secretary, Pankaja Munde, also expressed her displeasure with the expansion of the Union’s cabinet.

The name of Pankaja Mouth’s sister and BJP MP Pritam Munde made the rounds as a candidate for the Council of Ministers of the Union.

However, Pritam Munde’s name was not on the final list and instead, former Maharashtra Prime Minister Narayan Rane was appointed Minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet.

This move appears to have caused anger in the BJP’s Maharashtra unit.

What about others who were lost in the cabinet reshuffle?

Sources tell India Today that the BJP could entrust key party roles to some of the senior leaders dismissed during the Union cabinet reshuffle earlier this week.

Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Prakash Javadekar, Ramesh Pokhriyal and Sadananda Gowda were among the party veterans shown the door at Rejig.
