Uttarakhand Minister Yatishwaranand was caught on camera with his face mask hanging from his toe during a meeting.
The minister’s image, which has now gone viral on social media, has generated sharp public reactions.
The picture shows Yatishwaranand in conversation with Uttarakhand’s Minister of Agriculture, Subodh Uniyal, other state ministers. While no one is wearing a mask properly in the picture, you can see Yatishwaranand’s mask hanging from his toe while sitting cross-legged.
Yatishwaranand is a Haridwar (rural) MLA and a cabinet minister in the Uttarakhand government. He is responsible for portfolios such as sugar cane and rural development.
