Covid hits India in England: Support staffer tests positive after Pant, Saha and Bharat Arun in quarantine


Covid-19 broke India’s bio-bubble in the UK, infecting two members, including Rishabh Pant, ahead of their five-game streak against England starting August 4th.

An Indian cricket support agent tested positive for Covid-19 in England according to Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant. Anyone who came into close contact with Pant was quarantined for 10 days.

According to the reports, Pant has no serious symptoms. He won’t travel to Durham, however, where the Indian team is scheduled to gather on Thursday to prepare for the three-day warm-up game against an XI County Championship team starting July 20th.
