The remains of Dilip Kumar will be buried today (July 7th) at 5 p.m. in Juhu Qabarstan, Santacruz Mumbai. The actor breathed his last breath at 7 a.m. after a long and protracted illness. He was 98 years old. Legendary actor Saira Banu’s wife was with him in his final moments.
FUNERAL IN JUHU QABASTAN
Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital last week with breathing problems. Today (July 7th) he took his last breath in the hospital. His family friend, Faisal Farooqui, took to Twitter to update fans and friends about the funeral of the actor’s remains.
The tweet read: “Funeral today at 5:00 pm. Juhu Qabrastan in Santacruz Mumbai (sic). “

DILIP KUMAR DIES AT 98 IN MUMBAI
Dilip Kumar died in the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday (7th of July). Faisal Farooqui went to Twitter to share the news of his death from the actor’s official account. He wrote: “With a heavy heart and deep sorrow I announce the death of our beloved Dilip Saab a few minutes ago. We are from God and we return to Him. – Faisal Farooqui (sic).”

The legendary actor was one of the most famous Indian actors of all time. During the 1950s and 1960s, he played prominent roles in several classic Hindi films. Some of these films include Mughal-E-Azam, Devdas, Naya Daur, Ganga Jumna, and Ram aur Shyam, among others. In 1991 he was honored with Padma Bhushan and in 2015 with Padma Vibhushan.
