Nasa intern mocked for Goddess Laxmi, Saraswati idols near her laptop. Twitter reacts

NASA, one of the leading US space agencies, recently shared a collage of its interns on Twitter to remind applicants to apply for an internship with the space agency this fall. To demonstrate the diversity, they added a picture of an Indian-American girl who can be seen around her laptop with the idols of the goddess Laxmi and Saraswati. As soon as internet users came across the picture, some were shocked while others applauded NASA for giving women more power.

NASA INTERN CONDUCTS THAT THEY HAVE POSITIONED WITH HINDU GODS ON A PICTURE

On July 10, NASA posted a reminder on Twitter for applicants applying for an internship with the prestigious space agency as the deadline approaches. In the post, the space agency shared a collage of their interns along with the memory. One of the pictures of an Indian-American woman posing on her laptop table with the goddess Laxmi and the idols of Saraswati caught the attention of internet users. While some couldn’t believe that a scientist in the making would believe in religion, others applauded the space agency for giving women more power.

This is what Twitter has to say:

The debate between science and religion is as old as time and has never ended. NASA internships are organized in three sessions per calendar year, which includes spring, fall and summer. The American space agency is known for giving opportunities to future scientists, engineers and other professionals.
