The government of Yogi Adityanath has made it mandatory to prepare a Covid-19 negative RT-PCR report for everyone who comes to Uttar Pradesh from states with a positivity rate of over three percent.

To bring the pandemic in the state under control, the latest decision was made by a team of nine officials from the Uttar Pradesh government at a meeting with Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday.

According to the new guidelines, anyone who comes to Uttar Pradesh must submit a negative Covid-19 report, which should not be older than four days.

The new rule applies to everyone who arrives by air, road or rail. People entering Uttar Pradesh with their personal vehicles must also follow the protocol.

However, whether people with double doses of vaccine will be exempted from the new guidelines will be known as soon as a new SOP is issued by the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
