The highly anticipated Netflix Navarasa trailer was released online on Tuesday, July 27th. With prominent actors and directors, the Tamil anthology revolves around the nine rasas (emotions). Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan came together to produce the anthology, the proceeds of which will be used to help those affected during the Covid-19 lockdown. None of the actors and directors asked for compensation for their work.
NETFLIXS NAVARASA TRAILER IS OUT
On Tuesday (July 27th) the makers of Netflix Navarasa unveiled the film’s trailer. The film premieres on August 6th. In the trailer, we encounter love in Suriya’s anthology and soon we’re knee-deep in a whirlwind of emotions that ranges from hate to vengeance. With an ensemble cast including Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swami, the fans are already looking forward to the film.
The creators shared the trailer and wrote: “9 stories, 9 emotions and an unbelievable journey. #NavarasaOnNetflix (sic). “

ALL ABOUT NAVARASA
The nine short stories in Netflix Navarasa are directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik Subbaraj, Karthick Naren, KV Anand, Ponram, Rathindran Prasad, Halitha Shameem and Arvind Swamy. The Bombay actor makes his directorial debut with the anthology of Navarasa.
The star cast includes Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Siddharth, Prakash Raj, Saravanan, Alagam Perumal, Repathy, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Aishwarya Rajessh. The score was composed by AR Rahman, D Imman and Ghibran, while Santosh Sivan, Balasubramaniem and Manoj Paramahamsa were brought on board for the cinematography.
