Shilpa Shetty’s husband, businessman Raj Kundra, was arrested by Mumbai police on a trial against him for making and publishing pornographic films. He was arrested by the Mumbai Criminal Police Department on Monday evening, July 19th. Many celebrities such as Poonam Pandey, Mika Singh and Gehana Vasisth responded to his arrest.

Mika Singh, whose Car broke down recently in the rain, responded to the arrest of Raj Kundra. POONAM PANDEY RESPONSES TO RAJ KUNDRA’S ARREST
Poonam Pandey, who filed a case against Raj Kundra in 2019, responded to his arrest and said, “At this moment my heart goes out to Shilpa Shetty and her children. I can’t imagine what she’s going through. So I refuse to take this opportunity to highlight my trauma. The only thing I will add is that I filed a police complaint against Raj Kundra in 2019 and then filed a fraud and theft lawsuit against him in the Honorable Supreme Court of Bombay. This matter is under court so I would rather limit what I have to say. Have full confidence in our police and that Legal proceedings. “
In early 2019, Poonam Pandey filed a lawsuit against Raj Kundra in the Bombay High Court for illegally using content about her. This was after she terminated her contract with her company, Armsprime Media.
GEHANA VASISTH EXPLAINS A DECLARATION AFTER RAJ KUNDRA’S ARREST
Gehana Vasisth, real name Vandana Tiwari, issued a statement after Raj Kundra was arrested where she said that porn content should not be mixed with erotica. Her statement read: “The law will take its course. We have full faith in the Mumbai Police Department, but they shouldn’t confuse porn with adult or bold content. We have always said that the Mumbai police are the best force in the world will ultimately decide in the process who the real culprits are and which of the arrested defendants were merely exploited by others (sic). “

The case against Raj Kundra was registered at Malwani Police Station on February 4, 2021, pursuant to sections of India’s Criminal Code, Information Technology Act, and Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. According to Mumbai Police, Raj appears to be the main conspirator in this case. The businessman will be there Pretrial detention until July 23.
