In her statement to the Mumbai Police Department’s Cyber Cell in March 2021, actress Sherlyn Chopra said that the defendant Raj Kundra had asked porn movie thugs to create content for his HotShots app, but she declined, because they recognized the content of the platform as correct “dirty and cheap”.
Sherlyn Chopra told police that Kundra approached her manager in March 2019 with the idea of ”The Sherlyn Chopra App” and said that the content she uploads on social media is free, but it has a customized one Monetize app.

In March 2019, Sherlyn Chopra had signed an agreement with Armprime, which was founded by Raj Kundra. She said in her statement that she had not extended the agreement with Armsprime because she was not comfortable with the existing 50-50 revenue-sharing model. She said that she requested that the app’s content be deleted after the agreement expired, but that the content would still be available on the internet.
During the term of the contract, Sherlyn Chopra shot a few videos for the app. One of the videos, entitled “Chocolate Video”, was of interest to the investigation and the cyber police inquired about it. The actress also said that she had a heated argument with the creative mind (name withheld) of Armsprime at the time. A chocolate video was shot in a hotel in Andheri (East). While talking about the video shoot, Chopra said, “She (creative mind) suggested that I let go of my inhibitions and open up like Hollywood models.”

Sherlyn Chopra said that on several occasions she got into heated arguments with the creative mind over the concept of content creation and execution. In her statement, she said that during the 12 months of her collaboration with Armsprime and Raj Kundra, she had not faced any legal problems and therefore had the impression that the presentation of content of this kind was legally unproblematic.
Chopra’s statement was recorded on an FIR registered against OTT platforms in 2020 for allegedly broadcasting sexually explicit and obscene content online. When asked for a byte, the actor declined to comment on the matter as the matter is sub-judicial.
Chopra is already charged as a defendant in the FIR, which was registered by the Mumbai Police’s cyber cell in 2020 against arm prime ministers. She was summoned by the criminal investigation department on July 26, 2021 to include a statement in the case of pornographic films, whereupon she applied for an early bail to the Bombay Supreme Court and stated in her pleading that, like co-defendant Raj Kundra, she feared arrest. The court granted her temporary detention on Wednesday, July 28.
ARMSPRIME ALSO CLEARS
Armsprime has also issued a statement clarifying that Raj Kundra is no longer affiliated with the company in any way.
“This is a statement to document some facts related to the arrest of Mr. Raj Kundra and his association with Armsprime Media (APM). Mr. Kundra resigned as director in December 2019 and today has no involvement or connection with Armsprime Media. APM actively worked with the Property Cell, Crime Branch, Mumbai Police and handed over all documents that were wanted by the police. APM continues to offer the law enforcement agencies full cooperation, ”said Armsprime.
