Following the announcement by Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt introduced the rest of the cast of the film. In a new video clip, the actors revealed that Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi are the rest of their family who play a central role in their story. With Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar celebrates his comeback as a director after a five-year break.

On his birthday today (July 6th) Ranveer Singh announced his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. at. In another post he shared a video to introduce his “parivaar”. In the video, Ranveer and Alia can be heard telling the audience about the remaining actors in the film. Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi will star in key roles in the film. Ranveer wrote, “Meet The Parivaar. It is an honor to share the screen with these legends of Hindi cinema – Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan & Shabana Azmi! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani #RRKPK (sic). “

Alia Bhatt, who reunites with her Gully Boy co-star Ranveer Singh, also shared the video on her social media. Alia called the seasoned actors legendary, evergreen and inspiring and introduced them as her parivaar. She wrote, “Meet the Parivaar. Legendary, evergreen, and inspiring! Meet the rest of the pillars of this Kahaani – Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan & Shabana Azmi! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani #RRKPK (sic).”
KARAN JOHAR can’t wait to be on the set
Karan Johar is just as excited to be a part of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani as the rest of the cast and crew. The filmmaker’s last film as a director was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, with Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The filmmaker shared the video with Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi as the actors and wrote, “Meet the legendary stars of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. We’re all excited to work with these veteran legends, and I can’t wait to be on the set with them! #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani #RRKPK (sic). “

Directed by Karan Johar, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. The film is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2022.
