The Taliban announced that Afghan citizens who intend to leave the country will be able to do so in a “dignified manner” with proper documents after the resumption of commercial air traffic in the country.
“Afghans who intend to go abroad can do so in a dignified and reassured manner by having legal documents such as passports and visas after the resumption of commercial flights in the country,” said Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, deputy director of the Taliban Political Bureau.
Suhail Shaheen, spokeswoman for the Taliban Politburo for the UK media, posted the latest decision on Twitter.
Those Afghans intending to go abroad can do so in a dignified manner and with peace of mind by having legal documents such as passports and visas once commercial flights resume in the country.

The announcement came at a time when numerous Afghan citizens were trying to flee the Taliban’s reign of terror. Thousands are seen every day flocking in front of Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul to leave their homes.
People were crushed to death in hand-to-hand combat, while images of a Family passes a child a wall for a soldier – and of young men clinging to the side of a military plane as it rolled down the runway for takeoff – shocked the world.
However, since only evacuation flights are operated from different countries, it is almost impossible for most local Afghans to get a seat on an airplane.
The situation at Kabul Airport has changed with the Explosion series on Thursday. But it didn’t discourage the Afghans as they did swarmed further into the airport hoping to get out of Afghanistan.
