A Chirag Paswan supporter pelted Union Minister Pashupati Paras in ink when he reached his Lok Sabha constituency of Hajipur in Bihar on Monday, sources said.

Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras visited his Lok Sabha constituency in Hajipur for the first time on Monday after joining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet.
But as soon as the convoy of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MP reached Hajipur, a female supporter of Chirag Paswan threw ink at the union minister, sources said.
After that, Pashupati Paras had to change [kurta].
On July 8, Hajipur MP Pashupati Kumar Paras was accepted as cabinet minister in the government led by Prime Minister Nodi and was appointed head of the main food industry ministry. The portfolio had previously been compiled with the Union’s Minister of Agriculture, Narendra Singh Tomar.
Pashupati Paras, who previously headed the LJP’s Bihar unit and is currently the national president of the breakaway faction, began his innings in 1978 as the Janata Party MLA of Alauli in his home district of Khagaria, a seat formerly represented by the late Ram Vilas Paswan.
The LJP faction led by Pashupati Paras has been with his nephew, the faction led by Chirag Paswan, since Death of his father Ram Vilas Paswan.
