Cryptocurrencies continued to improve their position on Monday after an impressive performance over the weekend.
Bitcoin, the world’s most popular cryptocurrency, topped $ 50,000 for the first time since May 15. The cryptocurrency traded at 50,226.52 at 9:30 a.m., nearly 3 percent more than 24 hours ago.
Bitcoin’s market cap is $ 943 billion and is approaching $ 1 trillion.
Meanwhile, Ether was trading over 3 percent higher at $ 3,340. The market capitalization of the second most popular cryptocurrency has risen to $ 391.57 billion.

All other popular cryptocurrencies rose on the Monday following bullish trading over the weekend. XRP, Cardano, Dogecoin, Stellar, Polkadot, Uniswap, Chainlink and Litecoin all traded higher after rising 2-12 percent.
The prices for cryptocurrencies have increased in the last few weeks due to the increased trading volume compared to sales.
Market experts assume that prices will improve in the next few days, even if there is a certain consolidation in between.
One of the reasons that could be directly related to the rising value of cryptocurrencies is higher purchases by private investors in the wake of the renewed weakness in the stock markets.
However, high volatility is common in the cryptocurrency market and individuals should exercise caution despite the sudden surge in recent weeks.
