A video of a US-made Afghan Air Force UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter moving around Kandahar Airport, which was captured by the Taliban, has gone viral on Twitter. The video has sparked speculation that the Taliban may have trained pilots in their ranks.

Whether a Taliban fighter was actually on the helicopter could not be determined from the video. In addition, the Black Hawk does not lift off the ground during the course of the video.
After the fall of the Afghan government, the Taliban are supposed to many weapons and equipment confiscated Left behind by the Afghan Army and Air Force.
The weapons looted by the Taliban include over five lakh M-16 and M-4 assault rifles along with the American light machine guns and 50 caliber weapons on the armored vehicles. The arsenal also includes a large number of sniper rifles, as well as steel core projectiles, bulletproof vests and armored penetrating projectiles.
The Taliban have also reportedly captured at least one A-29 Super Tucano aircraft, one MD-530F helicopter, one Mi-35 Hind attack helicopter and two Mi-17 helicopters. While the extremist group got their hands on two of the flying machines at Mazar-e-Sharif airport on August 15, the others were spotted at Kunduz and Herat airports.

However, the majority of the Afghan Air Force’s strongest military assets were flown out of the country on August 15 to prevent the Taliban from operating. Many of them were reportedly flown to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus.

A Russian news channel had shown footage of at least 12 Afghan carrier aircraft arriving at Bokhtar Airport in Tajikistan.
