Karnataka’s Prime Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday allocated portfolios to 29 ministers who were admitted to his new cabinet.

While the CM retained key portfolios for finance, Bengaluru development, and cabinet affairs, the BJP’s core MLAs secured prime positions in Bommai’s cabinet.

According to the government announcement, Sunil Kumar has received the energy and energy portfolio. BC Nagesh, who has become a minister for the first time, receives elementary education, while Aaraga Jnanendra receives the homeland section.

A week after taking office as Chief Minister of Karnataka, Bommai added 29 ministers to his new cabinet on Wednesday. When expanding the cabinet, which was seen as the first challenge facing the new Prime Minister, Bommai mostly kept the old faces.
