Man Ki Awaaz Pratigya actor Anupam Shyam died of multiple organ failure in a hospital in Mumbai. He suffered from kidney problems.
Anupam Shyam died today (August 8th) in a hospital in Mumbai.
Actor Anupam Shyam Ojha, currently featured on Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2, took his last breath today (August 8th). He was 63 years old. The actor was in the hospital for around six days. He died of multiple organ failures at 8 p.m. today at Life Line Hospital.
Anupam Shyam is best known for his work on the TV show Mann Ki Awaaz: Pratigya, in which he played Thakur Sajjan Singh. He has also made appearances in films such as Slumdog Millionaire, Bandit Queen Dil Se, Lagaan, and Hazaaron Khwaishin Aisi.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit mourned his death on Twitter. He wrote, “Sorry to see one of the best actors and a great person #AnupamShyam die due to multiple organ failure. My condolences to his family. A great loss for the film and television industry (sic). “

Actor Manoj Joshi also used Twitter to pay his last respects to the experienced actor. He wrote: “Sorry about the death of my friend and very talented actor Anupam Shyam ji. We have lost a great man. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Om Shanti (sic).”

Last year, in July, Anupam Shyam was admitted to the Lifeline Hospital in Goregaon after collapsing on dialysis. The actor underwent dialysis three times a week while filming Pratigya 2.
