Indian ice hockey goalkeeper PR Sreejesh announced that there will be no celebrations for the players tonight, but every single member of the squad will sleep with their Olympic bronze medal on Thursday night.
India outclassed Germany 5: 4 in its bronze medal match, ending the nation’s 41-year waiting period for an Olympic medal in field hockey. Meanwhile, Sreejesh’s wife is planning a long vacation with her husband, whom she has not seen in 6 months.
