The incident follows a similar case in Nangal village in Delhi canton Area that sparked outrage earlier this month.
A nine-year-old girl was murdered and forcibly cremated by four people in Nangal Village, according to the minor’s family. In their statements to the police, family members also accused the four men of sexual assault.
Initial reports indicated that the defendant tried to convince the family to cremate the child’s body without informing the police, as this would “make matters more difficult”.
