Terrorists attack CRPF troop in Shopian, one injured, area cordoned off

Four suspected terrorists opened fire on a CRPF party in the Shopian district of southern Kashmiri on Tuesday morning, injuring one person.

The incident occurred in the Kralcheck district of Zainapora in the Shopian district of southern Kashmir.

A senior police officer told India Today TV that terrorists shot the CRPF party when the paramilitary soldier was gunshot wounds. He was transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Ct Ajay Kumar sustained a gunshot wound to the hand but is currently out of danger. After the terrorists opened fire, the troops also fought back. A full magazine was found during the search.

The entire area has now been cordoned off to catch the attackers.

This comes at a time when Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, who is on a two-day trip to Kashmir, will visit the Mata Kheer Bavani Temple in Tulmal Ganderbal and later the Hazratbal Shrine before inaugurating the Congress Party’s headquarters in Srinagar .
