Five family members – four adults and a nine-month-old baby – were found dead at their home in Bengaluru on Friday evening. The police suspect that the adults died by suicide.

Five members of a family – four adults and a nine-month-old baby – were found dead Friday evening at their home in Bengaluru, which is under the Byadarahalli police lines.
The bodies were found in a decomposed state. According to the police, they probably died four days ago. It is believed that the four adults died of suicide.
The deceased are Bharathi (51), their daughters Sinchana (34) and Sindhurani (34), their son Madhusagar (25) and the boy to be named.
A two year old girl named Preksha was also found in the house. She was according to a. transferred to the hospital Report in the Times of India. Bharathi’s husband, Shankar, was away from the house at the time of the incident.
POLICE INVESTIGATION
The incident was revealed when the house owner called the police on Friday evening and informed them that the tenants were not taking calls and the house was locked, said the deputy police commissioner (DCP).
“The police are looking for a suicide note or other evidence from the house. We are also trying to find out how the neighbors did not find out about the incident even after three to four days, ”DCP (West) Sanjeev M. Patil was quoted in the Times of India report.
It is believed that a family quarrel led to the devastating incident. However, it is not yet known for certain. Further investigations into the case are ongoing.
