Four tribesmen from the Alirajpur district of Madhya Pradesh were given the opportunity to fly in a helicopter for the first time. And not just any helicopter, the official aircraft of MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
The Prime Minister was in Alirajpur to attend a series of public gatherings when he ordered officials to allow four Jobat Tehsil tribesmen to take a helicopter flight from Ranbyda to Sejawada. The journey took almost half an hour.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself traveled by road from Ranbyda to attend the remaining public gatherings as part of his Jandarshan Yatra. The prime minister was also seen dancing with tribesmen in Jobat, who received him with a traditional reception.

“The four tribesmen were allowed to take a helicopter ride without Chouhan because he was supposed to be traveling by road for the scheduled broadcasts,” said an official with the PTI news agency.
The four tribes of Jobat were later identified as Dariyav Singh, Mangal Singh, Ricchu Singh Baghel, and Jodh Singh. The tribesmen thanked CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his generosity and said that flying in a helicopter was like a dream come true.

CM Chouhan later said in a tweet, “I feel happy when I see smiles on the faces of my less fortunate brothers and sisters.”
Jobat through survey
The death of the MLA of Congress – Kalavati Bhuria – required a poll in Jobat in the tribal-dominated Alirajpur district of MPs. The Indian Electoral Commission (ECI) has yet to announce a by-election date for the Jobat Assembly constituency of Madhya Pradesh.
During his programs in Alirajpur on Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced a number of development projects in Jobat, including a stadium. This archery archery stadium is being built for almost 5 billion rupees.
