In the area of Gulbahar, the entrance to Panjshir in Afghanistan, according to local reports, heavy fighting is taking place between the Taliban and the resistance forces led by Ahmad Massoud.
According to the freelance journalist Natiq Malikzada, there are unconfirmed reports that the Taliban blew up a bridge connecting Gulbahar Street with Panjshir during the conflict.

This comes a day after seven-eight Taliban fighters were reportedly killed in a fight that broke out in the Panjshir Valley on Monday evening.
Fahim Dashty, the Spokesman for Ahmad Massoud who leads a resistance movement against the Taliban, said the Taliban launched an attack Monday evening on Panjshir, where resistance forces in Afghanistan are providing final resistance to the group. He said both sides suffered injuries while seven-eight Taliban fighters died during the incident.
On Sunday the Taliban did Shut down internet services in Panjshir to prevent former Vice President Amrullah Saleh, who joined Panjshir’s armed forces, from sharing his messages on Twitter.
Panjshir is the only Afghan province that has not yet fallen under the Taliban. Several opponents of the Taliban have gathered in Panjshir. Ahmad Massoud, the son of the legendary Afghan rebel commander Ahmad Shah Massoud, is currently in the Panjshir Valley with Amrullah Saleh.
