According to the freelance journalist Natiq Malikzada, there are unconfirmed reports that the Taliban blew up a bridge connecting Gulbahar Street with Panjshir during the conflict.

This comes a day after seven-eight Taliban fighters were reportedly killed in a fight that broke out in the Panjshir Valley on Monday evening.

Fahim Dashty, the Spokesman for Ahmad Massoud who leads a resistance movement against the Taliban, said the Taliban launched an attack Monday evening on Panjshir, where resistance forces in Afghanistan are providing final resistance to the group. He said both sides suffered injuries while seven-eight Taliban fighters died during the incident.
