Labourer killed, 4 injured at proposed Varanasi’s Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor


One worker was killed and four others injured after a large stone fell on them in the grounds of the planned Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

At least one worker was killed and four others injured after a large stone fell during construction in the Kashi Vishwanath Dham corridor complex in Varanasi.

The injured workers were admitted to the Varanasi Division Hospital.

Several police officers are on site and the matter is being investigated.

The family of the deceased is financially supported and the other injured are treated free of charge.
