Panjshir province was bombed by Pakistani Air Force drones, it said on Sunday.
Former Samangan MP Zia Arianjad was quoted by Aamaj News as saying that Pakistani drones had bombed Panjshir with smart bombs.
Early on Sunday evening, Fahim Dashty, the spokesman for Ahmad Massoud, who leads a resistance movement against the Taliban, was killed in fighting with the Taliban in Panjshir.
