Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli unveiled the blue jerseys that RCB will be showing on Jan.
Captain Kohli announced that the blue jerseys will be auctioned off after RCB’s first game against KKR on September 20, and all proceeds will be used across India to offer free Covid-19 vaccines to less privileged communities.
“This is a different kind of blue that I will wear. There is a message and it will be a milestone for RCB. It will be auctioned after the game to speed up vaccination campaigns in India,” said Virat Kohli.

Instead of their flagship jersey “Go Green”, RCB will wear blue this year. Important health messages are also engraved on the blue jerseys. RCB is wearing blue jerseys to show their solidarity and support for the frontline workers in these tough times due to COVID-19

Kohli was here in Dubai for the first training session with his RCB teammates early Saturday morning after spending six days in quarantine on his return from England.
RCB will try to reach the playoffs for the second consecutive IPL season. The men of Virat Kohli are currently in 3rd place with 5 wins from 7 games, tied with the second-placed Chennai Super Kings with 10 points. Delhi Capitals tops the table with 12 points from 8 games.
