The NIA’s indictment in the Antilia fear of bombing has named the dismissed Inspector Sachin Vaze as one of the main conspirators in setting up the explosive-laden Scorpion car near the residence of businessman Mukesh Ambani.
Sachin Vaze orchestrated the entire episode with the intent of establishing himself as a “supercop,” the NIA said.

How did Sachin Vaze conspire?
Sachin Vaze parked the Scorpio car loaded with gelatin sticks near Mukesh Ambani’s residence in Mumbai. On orders from A-1 (Sachin Vaze), the Scorpio vehicle was driven by a witness in the Mumbai Crime Branch’s official Innova vehicle. He has been appointed as the investigator into the case who rigged the investigation to cover up the conspiracy.
He obtained fake license plates and used them on both vehicles to commit the crime of placing the scorpion laden with explosives and planning and executing the murder of Mansukh Hiran.
He destroyed evidence by illegally taking away the electronic records / DVRs containing incriminating CCTV footage and documents on the fake license plates. Later, in the presence of his helpers, he disposed of and destroyed the evidence in the Mithi River and other locations in Mumbai and Thane.
He also destroyed evidence relating to Mansukh Hiran’s cell phone and another cell phone he gave to A-5, which received the last call from the late Mansukh Hiran.
He himself tried to turn Mansukh Hiran into a conspirator by placing the explosives-laden SUV on Carmichael Road and tried to convince Mansukh Hiran to take responsibility. When Mansukh Hiran refused to accept, Vaze hatched a conspiracy to kill Mansukh Hiran.
He and two other defendants held meetings on the premises of the Communist Party office to carry out the murder of Mansukh Hiran. The NIA indictment states that he conspired with other defendants to arrange the killers to eliminate Mansukh Hiran.

“After Mansukh Hiran’s assassination, A-1 (Sachin Vaze) tried to project the same as a suicide case by disseminating such news through his journalism contacts. He raised huge sums of money through extortion, some of which was used to commit instant crimes, ”the NIA indictment stated.
The NIA said: “As indicated in the threatening letter that was placed along with the explosives in the vehicle that the Defendant Sachin Vaze himself placed on Carmichael Road, Vaze was an act of terrorism. The intent was clearly to terrorize wealthy and affluent people, and also to extort money, fearing dire consequences. The contribution on the Telegram channel Jaish-Ul-hind seems to be a conscious attempt to give credibility to the above-mentioned act of terrorism. “
“Mansukh Hiran was a direct result of the said terrorist act. Aside from the phrasing, I am the threatening letter, “agle baar connect hokar aayega” clearly shows Vaze’s intention to promote the terrorist acts to establish himself as a super cop by staging a fake encounter to regain his lost fame. It is important to note here that the ransom demand made in a threatening letter on Telegram to the Ambani family to avoid dire consequences clearly shows Vaze’s motive for huge cash profits from the entire conspiracy.
