After Punjab Deputy Prime Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said an investigation was being carried out to see if that was the case The Pakistani journalist Aroosa Alam Has ties to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) intelligence agency, former Prime Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said it was a “baseless investigation into the security of Punjab.”
Aroosa Alam is Captain Amarinder Singh’s close friend and has been visiting him for several years.
WHAT SAY THE DEPUTY CM?
On Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said it was “investigating” whether Aroosa Alam had links with the ISI, adding that he had asked the Director General of Police (DGP) to investigate.
“Aroosa was in India for four and a half years and her visa was extended from time to time. Why didn’t Delhi cancel her visa? Why did she leave India when we took action against Amarinder Singh?” he asked.
“I think all of this needs to be investigated and Captain Amarinder also needs to provide answers to these questions,” he added.
HOW DID THE CAPTAIN REACTION?
Captain Amarinder Singh responded with a series of tweets posted by his media advisor, Raveen Thukral. He accused the deputy prime minister of “resorting to personal attacks”.
He added: “You were ministers in my cabinet. I never heard of you complaining about Aroosa Alam [Government of India] Approvals. Or do you claim that both the NDA and Congress-led UPA governments have tolerated Pakistan’s ISI during this period? “
“You were minister in my cabinet” @Sukhjinder_INC. Never heard of you complaining about Aroosa Alam. And it has come with government approval for 16 years. Or do you claim that both NDA and @INCIndia did UPA governments with Pak ISI during this time? ‘: @capt_amarinder 2/3

Captain Amarinder Singh also said: “Instead of focusing on maintaining law and order at a time when the threat of terrorism is high and festivals are upon us, you have subjected the Punjab DGP to an unfounded investigation at the expense of Punjab’s security . “
When Deputy Prime Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa asked on Twitter why Captain Amarinder Singh was “so concerned about the investigation into Aroosa and ISI links,” the former Prime Minister said, “You seem worried and confused about your flip-flops are any clue. Why don’t you choose this so-called investigation against Aroosa Alam? “
Deputy Prime Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa also said it was investigating who had sponsored Aroosa Alam’s visa all these years.
(4/4) By the way, sir @capt_amarinder Why are you so concerned about the probing of Aroosa and ISI links? Who sponsored your visa and everything related to you will be thoroughly investigated. I hope that everyone involved will cooperate with the police in the investigation

Captain Amarinder Singh said that he had sponsored it for 16 years and that the visa applications were approved by the Research and Analysis Wing and the Intelligence Bureau.
He also said that a detailed investigation was conducted in 2007. “You still want to waste Punjab’s resources on it? I’ll help you with whatever you need,” he concluded.

AMARINDER TO SWIM HIS OWN PARTY
Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Amarinder Singh are not new enemies. In fact, the former was one of the key congressional leaders to rebel against Amarinder Singh as prime minister, which eventually led to his resignation.
Now that he has separated from the Congress party, Amarinder Singh said on Tuesday he would soon found his own political party He said he hoped to share seats with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in next year’s Punjab assembly elections if the farmers’ problem was resolved in their interests.
