The Assam police raised high alert in the state on Sunday because the Pakistani spy agency Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) is planning a major terrorist attack in Assam and other parts of the country.
India Today TV accessed the copy of the Assam Police Department circular issued by the Assam Police Headquarters Deputy Inspector General (L&O). The circular states that RSS cadres, army zones, mass gatherings, and religious venues are the likely targets of the ISI.

The Commissioner of Police, Guwahati City, all District Police, Special DGP (T&AP) and IP (BTAD), Kokrajhar, ADGPs (SB / S) Assam and all DIGs of Ranges have been asked to take the necessary preventive and precautionary measures to this end to prevent any terrorist activity.
