DGCA extends ban on scheduled international commercial flights till November 30


India on Friday extended the suspension of international scheduled flights until November 30th. However, restrictions do not apply to international cargo-only flights approved by the DGCA.

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Friday extended the suspension of planned international commercial passenger flights until November 30th.

A notice issued by the DGCA stated that the restrictions do not apply to international all-cargo operations and to flights expressly approved by the DGCA.

The announcement also states that the international scheduled flights on selected routes can be approved by the competent authority on a case-by-case basis.

In September it is DGCA extended the suspension of scheduled international commercial passenger flights by October 31.
